On behalf of Newcastle Emlyn RFC I would like to extend a warm welcome to today's opponents Laugharne, and all their officials  and supporters. It gives me great pleasure to inform you that four, yes FOUR , of our Under 16 team have been selected for the Welsh Under 16 Squad. The players  are prop Gareth Thomas, flanker Owain Powell, centre Rheon James, and wing Gethin Hunter. We wish them  all the best and hope that they will go on to be capped by Wales this season. After the long break through November it was nice to have some local rugby to watch last week. We all hope that the Ist XV can regain the form they  showed before the break - if they do our visitors today could be in for quite a game. An update on the situation regarding the proposed development at Ddol Wiber is that patience seems to be the name of the game  with regard to  planners and planning applications.
